Release 01 - Winter 2026

Imperishable Change That Renovates The World

Release 01 introduces two editions examining renovative structures at different scales.

Each work in Release 01 directs a portion of its proceeds toward supporting organizations that work to better conditions for those in need, one globally and one locally.

10% of proceeds from The Long Goodbye support the International Rescue Committee, whose work addresses displacement, conflict, and systemic breakdown across the world. Just as the drawing reflects large-scale processes of instability and regeneration, this contribution supports those who are navigating profound structural and destabilizing change.

10% of proceeds from Ghosts in Common support NELA Food Distribution, a neighborhood-based mutual aid effort providing food to families in need. Echoing the work’s focus on local flora and interdependence, this contribution sustains care at an immediate, local scale.

Together, these gestures mirror the framework of the release: large systems and intimate networks, global forces and shared ground, each dependent on the other.

The Long Goodbye series uses the marks of subatomic decay patterns as a visual alphabet to construct compositions derived from telescopic imagery of stellar life cycles. Translating phenomena observed at vastly different magnitudes, the work places particle traces and cosmic events within the same perceptual field. By pairing two iterations of the same process, birth, transformation, decay, and regeneration, the image reflects on the shared structures underlying change across scale. What unfolds in nano-seconds also unfolds across millennia: matter breaks apart, reorganizes, and persists in altered form. The drawing brings these distant temporalities into human view, suggesting that the disappearance of one state is inseparable from the emergence of another, and that the stability of any status quo is always provisional.

From the Ghosts In Common – Flora series, this work uses an alphabet of subatomic decay patterns, the pathways unstable particles travel through space and time as they transform into more stable forms, layered to form compositions of flora. In translating particle behavior into flora, the image suggests that processes shaping the cosmos also underlie the living world around us. These larger, more familiar embodiments mirror the same universal cycles of creation, dissolution, and renewal.
